Ford Bronco Free Wheeling Package Infuses Dynamic Eye-Catching Style with Off-Roading Adventures
New Free Wheeling appearance package brings a fresh take on classic design honoring Ford’s iconic Free Wheeling vehicles from the ‘70s and ‘80s
Introducing the 2025 Bronco Free Wheeling appearance package, featuring a striking combination of red, orange, and yellow hues, clearly a nod to the beloved Free Wheeling trucks, vans, and Broncos that Ford rolled out in the ‘70s and ‘80s.
From the late 1970s to the early 1980s, Ford offered the Free Wheeling package for its F-100, F-150, Bronco, and Econoline van models. A package was known for its dynamic graphics in red, orange, and yellow gradients, complemented by painted steel wheels and black finishes on the grilles, mirrors, and bumpers. Inside, the vehicles featured striking red and orange pinstriping on the dashboard and the stitching of the seats.
“Bronco has always been about fun and capability since day one and Free Wheeling’s looks kick that up a notch with its sunset inspired beach vibes,” said Steve Gilmore, Ford Vehicle Personalization chief designer. “We’ve modernized the new Bronco Free Wheeling in line with today’s fashion and graphic trends, including seats that mimic the color palette of the exterior stripes and unique pops of color that come together in an optimistic way.”
The 2025 Bronco Free Wheeling can be chosen as an optional appearance package for the Big Bend trim. Featuring eye-catching reflective graphics in red, orange, and yellow along the sides, sleek silver door handles, and an Iconic Silver grille adorned with a “BRONCO” wordmark highlighted by a striking red outline and a white center.
The Free Wheeling package features standard 17-inch gloss-black steel wheels, while the optional Sasquatch package enhances the look with 17-inch gloss-black wheels with a machined lip and red pockets. Each Bronco Free Wheeling is outfitted with unique seating that combines durable Marine-Grade Vinyl and fabric upholstery for added flair. You can opt for the premium Shadow Black painted roof, alongside the standard soft top and the available molded-in-color removable hardtop.
