NEWS: 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Caught Testing

The sniper-like spy photographers have recently caught up with the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. Covered in heavy camo the new Alpha chassied Camaro shows what looks like huge hood vents and quad tipped exhaust leading us to believe we’re looking at an SS or possibly a ZL1 variant meaning we won’t have to wait long for the General’s powerhouses to hit the streets after the 6th gen Camaro debuts in 2015.

Expect shorter overhangs with a lighter, more nibble ride from the Cadillac ATS and CTS borrowed underpinnings along with the usual V6 and V8 power plants. Word on the street is GM could have a turbo V6 and/or I4 up their sleeves which would almost certainly find its way into the next gen Camaro to compete with the likes of Fords new 310hp turbo four-cylinder Ecoboost Mustang.
