SRT debuted a new color as well as a special GT package for the Viper at the Detroit Auto Show. According to SRT the new color, dubbed Stryker Green, is said to be an evolution of Snakeskin Green from 2008 with "enhanced green and yellow pigments and a 'liquid mercury' appearance," and only available on the GTS performance trim level or new GT option package.

The new Grand Touring (GT) package incorporates some performance-enhancing features such as five-mode Electronic Stability Control and the two-mode Bilstein DampTronic Select suspension, both of which were previously only available on the Viper GTS, now toss in a set of Nappa leather covered buckets for good measure.

The Stryker Green cloaked SRT Viper to be displayed at the Auto Show will feature the GT package plus sport a prototype aero package highlighting a Mopar carbon fiber rear wing and extended front corner splitters.

Expect the GT package to be priced somewhere in between the standard Viper price ($104,480 including destination), and the 2014 Viper GTS at $126,980
